Hey thanks for the add...just a note. When it came up on the email, it said:
A Servant of Christ is your new friend! Haha, it made me laugh.
@deepestrecesses - Thank you for sharing your real life experience with God's miracle with me and the rest. As for my part...whenever I read the Holy Qur'an and the sayings of the Prophet s.a.w....I will find myself grow in knowledge of wisdom, life, death, life in the hereafter. Whatever befalls upon me, be it good or bad, I never praise myself nor I put up any complaint against God. Everything is a true blessing. That makes me appreciate God most and the life he has given me as a test to pass. That's one great miracle God has poured on me, being His humble servant and I really thank Him for that .
@ThePraisedOne@xanga - indeed there is a lot of powerful feelings over the topic.
Speaking as a Christian, I have witnessed what I consider to be great works of God in my life. I've seen evil be removed from my life, I've seen peace brought in, I've known forgiveness, and I've witnessed countless works come to fulfillment before my eyes which I believe God accomplished through His holy Spirit.
I'm curious, for you as a believer of the Qur'an, is there considered to be a "mark" or "seal" placed upon you? As I mentioned above, that is my mark-- the work or testimony God has placed over me bears witness to who I belong to. Is there a similar thing for you?
@deepestrecesses - Some say it was Judas...some say it was another person who looked exactly like Jesus...some say it was Jesus himself on the cross...but I believe it was all just an illusion...a mirage of Jesus made or appeared to be real to fool everyone present at the event especially the Romans and the Pharisees...like I said God is Almighty and All-Knower to everything that we are not able to do and not able to know....It was not the fault of the people at that time who witnessed the event and did not know the truth but later God revealed the truth in the Qur'an and from thereon all people should have accepted the Final Revelation that is the Holy Qur'an being the true Word of God...the Final One...unfortunately many say it was from the Devil...not God...pity
Why did the man God replaced Jesus with die on the cross?
In the Christian faith, we believe that Jesus was the Son of God- as such He is perfect and therefore capable of undertaking and paying for our transgressions.
Would you, then, consider that this man whom God replaced Jesus with to be perfect as well?
@deepestrecesses - Correction...."but instead God lifted him..." not "but instead Gog lifted him..."Apologize for the spelling error
@deepestrecesses - Exactly...Jesus never died on the cross...Jesus was saved by God as Jonah was saved by God...Jonah did not die inside the belly of the whale...Jesus did not die on the cross but instead Gog lifted him up to Heaven and put another being resembling exactly like him to replace his place carrying the cross and being crucified...receiving all the suffers and pains...this being later disappeared in the tomb by itself without anyone's knowledge through God's word "Be". Nothing is impossible for God if He wishes something to happen as to his liking....He is the Ruler of Heaven and Earth...as a matter of fact God is the Ruler of the whole Universe and its living beings...
@shrondaf - Thank you! And thank you for reminding me that this was still going. lol I'd forgotten about it.
@ThePraisedOne@xanga - I apologize for not responding sooner. I got busy and by the time I returned to xanga, I forgot we were discussing this.
It has been very interesting talking to you about this. From your above response to my question, I still did not understand your answer; if I do have it correct it sounds like you believe the Bible to be flawed, but only in the sections that quote Jesus as claiming diety, along with any of His apostles writings?
I completely love this site.

The Quran says: "He (Jesus) said: Verily! @ThePraisedOne@xanga - Interesting. In the Qur'an you cited a verse which said "'O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme'", was that in answer to my original question regarding the scriptures in the Bible which Jesus makes claims of deity?
You made mention of there being no distinction between Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the offspring sons of Jacob, and of Moses and Jesus. Isaiah prophesied (as did the other prophets) that the Messaiah would come, and that Messaiah is Jesus the Christ, which it sounds like your scriptures testify to as well. Which is why I ask why is there no distinction between a prophet of God and Jesus the Messiah? Because Jesus even stated that he came to fulfill and the prophets and the law (Mat 8:17, 2:17, and

There is not one of the People of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them - (4:157-159)
We Muslims live and die by following and believing God's final revelation, that is the Holy Qur'an.

We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm)." (2:136)
Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject Faith, to the Day of Resurrection; then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. (3:55)
And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary
@ThePraisedOne@xanga - The scriptures you referenced are certainly ones that I am familiar with. However, I'm curious, what do you mean by saying that Jesus did not die until today?
I am somewhat surprised to hear that the Muslim faith would consider itself to be following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Would a Muslim accept most of his teachings, but consider the scriptures that Jesus claimed deity in to be mistakes?
I appreciate your open-honesty in discussing this.
